Greg Taylor showed his class at Hampden last night as he handed over his tracksuit top to keep a shivering mascot warm.

It was another wet, chilling night at the National Stadium as Scotland brought the curtain down on their European Championship campaign with a home tie against Kazakhstan.

For the pre-match ceremonies a mascot was assigned to each player with one young boy kitted out in full Kazakhstan kit as he shivered on to the pitch alongside Taylor.

Realising the cold of the night the Celtic defender took off his tracksuit top to protect his mascot from the elements as team-mates James Forrest and Callum McGregor wondered what was going on.

For the first 45 minutes Scotland looked uninterested and off the pace as they went in at the break trailing 1-0.

The second half was a different story as Scotland scored three times, in stoppage time Taylor provided the cross for John McGinn to complete the scoring.
