Leigh Griffiths was delighted to be back in competitive action- while looking for a mystery Celtic fan.
The striker was given a great reception when he replaced Odsonne Edouard in the 68th minute of the 4-0 win over Livingston and fitted into the side straight away.
A couple of chances fell his way that would have been converted on another day but the experience was positive as he took a bow at the final whistle.
It was the first competitive action that Griffiths had faced since the end of August when he got a 15 minute run against Hearts.
After scoring twice in a friendly against Stenhousemuir in midweek Neil Lennon decided that it was time to give him another taste of first team action.
Vakoun Bayo’s injury has left Lennon with just one available striker over the last month with the Celtic boss keen to give Edouard some down-time after playing almost every available minute.
