Celtic fans have been told to party in Rome- but not to drink from glass bottles in the streets.

For the last month there has been a string of negative stories surrounding the Europa League tie with Lazio with Celtic warning fans not to wear colours, not to drink and to stay away from the Metro.

Over 10,000 Celtic fans are expected in Rome tomorrow but it seems that warnings of an alcohol ban were far fetched with the wine set to flow freely in restaurants across the Italian capital.

Visiting supporters to Rome have found themselves in bother with Ultras from Lazio and Roma in the past but it seems that the normal rules are in place.

Rome has no shortages of piazzas for supporters to gather ahead of the 6.55 local time kick-off. Special buses have been laid on to take Celtic supporters back and forward to the stadium with the real prospect of Lazio fans being outnumbered in the Stadio Olympico.
