Neil Lennon has made the four changes expected from the team that beat Livingston on Saturday for tonight’s Europa League tie with Rennes.

The big surprise is a starting place for Lewis Morgan who replaces Odsonne Edouard with the Celtic boss having various options over who to play through the centre.

Moritz Bauer, Greg Taylor and Olivier Ntcham replace Jeremie Frimpong, Jonny Hayes and Tom Rogic as the hoops look to go beyond the 10 points for the first time in a UEFA group.

With Frimpong ineligible and Hayes injured the hoops go into tonight’s match with a new full-back pairing but Taylor is coming in off the back of two appearances for Scotland.

After winning in Lazio earlier in the month Celtic booked their place in the knock out phase of the tournament which resumes in February.

Wins tonight for Celtic and Lazio would ensure top place for Neil Lennon’s side when the draw is made next month and allow the hoops boss to rest most of his top names from the final group match in Romania against Cluj.

The 12 group winners plus the four best placed Champions League drop outs will be drawn against runners-up and the four poorest Champions League sides.

Going into their final group matches Liverpool and Chelsea could both drop into the Europa League if the MatchDay 6 results go against them.

CELTIC: Forster; Bauer, Ajer, Jullien, Taylor; McGregor, Brown; Forrest, Ntcham, Christie; Morgan

SUBS: Gordon, Bitton, Griffiths, Rogic, Robertson, Johnston, Sinclair
