The small touch that is making Hampden Celtic’s second home

Not so long ago Hampden was a bit of a bogey ground for Celtic, leaving the National Stadium to the cheers of St Mirren, Hearts, Ross County and Inverness Caley Thistle supporters left a phycological scar with supporters as they returned for the next match.

Suddenly that has all changed, yesterday Celtic won their 12th successive match at Hampden, straight victories against all of the contenders without the need for extra time or penalties.

One of the small features that may have helped change that record has been adapting the dressing room at Hampden to give it a more homely feel, a sense of identity.

Mo Elyounoussi certainly appreciated the touch, he liked it so much that he treated the pitch like his back garden as he ran Hibs ragged in the semi final of the Betfred Cup.

Scoring Celtic’s first and third goals either side of creating another Hampden goal for Callum McGregor.

Should/Can Celtic sign Mo Elyounoussi on a permanent basis?
