Odsonne Edouard put his injury concerns to one side as he celebrated Scott Brown’s dramatic winner over Hamilton Accies.
The fitness of the striker will be watched closely over the next four days as Celtic prepare for the League Cup Final at Hampden.
Edouard missed his third match running as Celtic faced Hamilton with the hoops struggling to build on Ryan Christie’s 13th minute opening goal.
In the 90th minute a goal from Mario Ogkmpoe looed like costing Celtic two points but Brown thought otherwise.
Picking up a ball from Mikey Johnston in stoppage time the skipper forced his way into the penalty box then shot low across the keeper to save the day.
The celebrations on the park were matched in the stands and across social media as Celtic moved two points clear at the top of the SPFL table.
Now attention will turn to Hampden with Edouard’s fitness monitored on a day to day basis as the hoops go for their fourth League Cup triumph in a row.
