After the first half stalemate the match changed dramatically in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
On the hour mark Chris Jullien opened the scoring when he converted a Ryan Christie free kick but soon the spotlight was at the other end of the pitch.
In one incident Jermie Frimpong was sent off but when Fraser Forster saved Alfredo Morelos’ penalty the advantage remained with Celtic.
