Celtic have taken a vow of silence on the back of their defeat in the Glasgow derby.

There hasn’t been a single story put on the club website since they shared Neil Lennon’s verdict on yesterday’s 2-1 defeat. Celtic Twitter hasn’t tweeted since they also shared the after match comments of the manager with a 90 second video.

Since the final whistle blew on yesterday’s match the blame game has been split three ways- with the boardroom, management team and players under equal attack.

With three weeks to go until the team is back in action there will be plenty of debate, often fierce across social media as to what is needed in the second half of the season.

The opening of the transfer window is just over 24 hours away but it appears that no deals are imminent, last season Oli Burke was the first January arrival, joining the club on loan from West Brom on January 5.

Around tea-time a Celtic spokesperson decided to respond to the claim made about the treatment of Alfredo Morelos during yesterday’s match.
