The contents of the infamous Charlotte Fakes twitter account were replayed in an Edinburgh Court yesterday.

Back in 2013 various recordings appeared online giving detailed discussions into the demise of the old Rangers club into administration and liquidation.

All of the key figures were involved with the underlying suggestion being that Craig Whyte had taped virtually every meaningful conversation that he had.

The Charlotte Fakes account was closed down numerous times on Twitter only to re-emerge but was ignored by the mainstream media despite providing some devastating news lines.

Ibrox administrator Dave Moorhouse is involved in legal action over the events of the 2012 administration which failed to find a buyer with the club getting put into liquidation.

The Sun reports:

Finance chief Mr Whitehouse let rip at striker Steven Naismith, 33, who later cut ties with the Bears, after he held one-on-one chats about leaving or taking a pay cut.

He also made disparaging remarks about then-skipper Steven Davis, 34, who came back to Ibrox this year. Mr Whitehouse told the summit: “Naismith, I couldn’t stand. I would let him go tomorrow.

“Davis is the captain. Davis should be behind all the players.” Mr Whyte replied: “You don’t get any loyalty in football players at all.”

During the taped chat, Mr Whyte also had a pop at former forward Kyle Lafferty, 32, who later admitted he’s a gambling addict.

He said: “Oh he’s a head case. He’s on 12-grand-a-week or something. He’s got all these gambling debts. Yeah yeah. Nutter, nutter.”

Mr Whyte also claimed a player’s form dipped after contracting a sexually transmitted infection.

The latest report from liquidators BDO is expected in the next fortnight before the 276 creditors get a final pay-out with HMRC, who rejected the CVA in 2012 due the lions share of the creditors pot.
