It’s hard to argue with the facts- for any watching coach or scout Chris Jullien would have to be at the top of your January shopping list.
Since the summer window closed the Scottish media has been speculating over big money bids for Alfredo Morelos.
Domestic goals have been added to by strikes against Young Boys, Porto and last week away to Feyenoord with Dave King and Steven Gerrard talking in terms of £40m and £50m for the former HJK Helsinki starlet.
The only outstanding question was his inability to score against Celtic over the course of three seasons. Gerrard left Morelos out of the September Glasgow derby but had him in from the start today- it didn’t work out well.

On half a dozen occasions Morelos was given the chance to score, James Tavernier even handed him penalty duty but even with a free hit from 12 yards out he couldn’t get the better of Fraser Forster.
In contrast Jullien only needed one chance. It arrived on the hour mark and he swept Ryan Christie’s free kick into the net then returned to defend with his life.
