Paddy Power have trolled their punters by tweeting that Steven Gerrard’s new contract will see him stay at Ibrox until Celtic win 13 in a row!
As was widely leaked ahead of the League Cup Final Gerrard signed a two year extension to his contract which will keep him at Ibrox until 2024.
The Liverpool legend has failed to win any of the first four trophies he has competed for with Celtic picking up the first trophy of the current season on Sunday at Ibrox.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has extended his contract until 2024.
“Celtic could have won 13 in a row by the time I leave,” he said. “That’s special. I don’t want to miss that.”

Paddy Power is known for its edgy approach to Social Media with today’s effort unlikely to go down well with many customers across Scotland.
Celtic’s 1-0 win at Hampden brought them their tenth successive domestic trophy with a run of 31 cup ties without defeat.
The hoops currently have a two point lead in the SPFL Premiership with the Glasgow derby on December 29 likely to have a major bearing on the destination of this season’s title.
