Celtic fans weren’t slow to deliver some home truths to Dave Cormack after his incredible overnight attack on Kris Ajer and Leigh Griffiths.
Supporters switching on to Twitter this morning were greeted by some amazing comments from the Aberdeen chairman which could easily have been credited to a Keyboard Warrior who had over-indulged on the festive spirit.
Accusing Ajer of feigning injury is quite a claim while Neil Lennon called out the claim that Griffiths lunged in with two feet to the knee of Lewis Ferguson for the lie that it is.
Cormack has kept a very low profile today suggesting that the enormity of his actions is starting to be appreciated. He can no longer be one of the Beach End Boys now that he has taken over from Stewart Milne as club chairman.
The Compliance Officer at the SFA has been very quiet this season but will surely call Cormack to account even if he is only to be reprimanded, given a slap on the wrist and warned about his future conduct.
Meanwhile Celtic fans weren’t slow to point out some flaring inconsistencies in the comments of the self-made millionaire that is now running the show at Pittodrie.
Law = fairness & consistency. Sam will take his ban but the compliance officer has a duty to review Ajer feigning injury with his triple salvo and miraculous recovery after Sam gets the red. Griffiths lunges into Ferguson’s knee with both feet in the air. Fairness for ALL please! pic.twitter.com/ze0LimAdrm

Law = fairness & consistency. Two Celtic players after playing your team in the recent past. The assault on Tierney wasn’t even a booking and no action either by the Compliance Officer.
Fairness for ALL please! pic.twitter.com/HOcHnD0091— Just one more thing (@johnjh67) December 26, 2019
Speaking of fairness what’s your view on decades of illegally registered players covered up by the governing body and every boardroom in the land?

Are you the new ebbe skovdahl?
He was always good value after Celtic thumped the dons. Keep it up, you’re very entertaining.
More than that miserable team you put out, who frankly tried to play like Livingstone but couldn’t do it as well.

Hiya Dave ?. How fair back are we going for fairness?
Remember that time your ‘player’ smashed Tierney’s teeth in and got off Scot free? pic.twitter.com/oj4wPpMuY9

Wish your club spoke out about fairness when Rankers were getting squeezed back into the league and not paying HMRC , also inquiry into SFA action on all this, but that did not suit your club at the time I suppose ?

Does the compliance officer has a duty to review Niall McGinn’s blatant dive for the free kick that led to Aberdeen’s goal, or is it just Celtic players you want cited?
Fairness for all, and all that… ?— Cosmic Funker (@CosmicFunker) December 26, 2019
Are you going to speak out about how a club is funding itself with massive losses each season to buy players they can’t afford and end up beating your team 5-0? Or that said club also needs £10m in outside funding to stay alive each season?

Ferguson slides in 2 footed on Griffiths and Griffiths should be punished?
— Tony Victory (@TonyVictory94) December 26, 2019
fairness, consistency?…look at the language you are using to describe the Griffiths incident.
You arent helping your cause
Will you call out every injustice now or just Celtic incidents?

Let’s not forget the consistency in this, Dominic Ball and Ryan Christie went for a 50-50 McInnes said. He had one intention jumping in there pic.twitter.com/YvUruRTBWz
