Neil Lennon has selected a puzzling Celtic side to face Hibs today with Nir Bitton, Boli Bolingoli and Olivier Ntcham coming in to the side that won the League Cup a week ago.

Jonny Hayes, Moi Elyounussi and Lewis Morgan drop out with the side appearing to be overloaded with midfielders. With the big hitters rested from the trip to Romania in midweek Lennon will be looking for some extra freshness about his side today.

In their last SPFL Premiership match it took a stoppage time goal from Scott Brown to secure the points.

Back in September Hibs were the first team to take points off Celtic when the sides drew 1-1 at Easter Road in a match best remembered for Kevin Clancy refusing Celtic two clear Celtic half penalties when Ryan Christie and Moritz Bauer were fouled.

John Beaton is in charge of today’s match, his first SPFL Premiership match at Celtic Park of 2019.

CELTIC: Forster; Frimpong, Bitton, Ajer, Jullien, Bolingoli, Brown, Ntcham, McGregor, Forrest, Edouard

SUBS: Gordon, Taylor, Bauer, Rogic, Morgan, Bayo, Griffiths
