Kundai Benyu has posted a message on Instagram to remind fans that he is backkk at Celtic.
The midfielder joined the hoops in 2017 on a four-year contract from Ipswich Town with hopes that he would become another Dembele.
In his early matches he looked to be a skilful, creative midfielder but that promise soon nose-dived. By January 2018 he was sent on loan to Oldham but after four appearances his days at Boundary Park were numbered.
Benyu played in a couple of reserve matches for Celtic early last season but had clearly fallen behind a lengthy list of midfielders looking for a first team place.
In January he moved to Helsingborg on loan but after two starts and eight substitute appearances his season ended in August in a 2-1 defeat from IFK Goteborg.
Nicky Hammond has a number of tasks to get through next month with finding another outlet for Benyu adding to the list.
