Chris Jullien doesn’t score many goals- but when he does they matter.
The Frenchman haS still to score in the SPFL but when he finds the net it tends to matter.
At the end of August he opened his Celtic account in the 4-1 win away to AIK in a Europa League play-off but with the hoops already 4-1 up even the charismatic Frenchman didn’t overdo the celebrations.

Lazio at home in October was a different matter- after Ryan Christie equalised for Celtic the defender rose perfectly to meet an 88th minute header and glance it into the net.
Jullien soaked up the congratulations of his team-mates then pretended to wrip off his shirt Superman style as he took an extra bow in front of the Celtic fans.
An hour into today’s League Cup Final he ghosted in at the back post to slot away a Ryan Christie free kick before heading off for a familiar celebration.
Six months ago Jullien was just another footballer in a mid-table French side- tonight he is a Celtic hero having helped deliver the club’s 10th successive trophy.
