Neil Lennon has included four untested players in his squad that flew to Romania today.

James Forrest was the most experienced passenger on board but hopefully the winger is only in Cluj to sign copies of his book and look around the Christmas markets.

Hampden hero Chris Jullien was on board but with Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Kris Ajer, Fraser Forster and Odsonne Edouard there is the chance for a few players to get some match time.

Lee O’Connor, Luca Connell and Jonathan Afolabi would have been in contention but like Jeremie Frimpong can’t be included in the UEFA Europa League squad which is restricted in the number of players developed outside the club.

Available in Romania tomorrow are:

KARAMOKO DEMBELE

Made his top team debut at the end of last season with 45 minutes against Hearts then picked up a Scottish Cup winners medal from the bench a week earlier.

After scoring in the pre-season friendly against Pinkafeld he was out injured for a month. The 16-year-old has scored a couple of goals for the reserve side and provided a brilliant assist last week for Afolabi to equalise against Motherwell.

SCOTT ROBERTSON

The central midfielder broke into the reserve side last season and signed a new contract extension in July.

As a tall fair haired midfielder he is often mistaken for Ewan Henderson. He made the first team bench at home to Rennes and away to Ross County but is still waiting for game time.

BARRY COFFEY

Facing a very tough task breaking into Celtic’s central midfield but has a good touch about him and tonnes of energy.

Last season he was a regular in the reserve side and helped the Ireland u-19 side reach the semi-finals of the European Championships, he is still eligible for this season’s u-19 squad.

CONOR HAZARD

Has just returned from Dundee where he played five matches during an emergency loan including a taste of the Tayside derby.

The 21-year-old is a full internationalist but has still to play for Celtic, he really needs a strong loan deal in the second half of this season with Forster and Craig Gordon out of contract at the end of this season.

UPDATE: Grant Savoury is also with the squad. He was released at the end of last season but switching from winger to right-back he impressed Neil Lennon in pre-season enough to earn a 12 month deal.
