James Tavernier couldn’t hold back on his disappointment as he discussed another failure in his Ibrox career.
Leading up to the match the Ibrox skipper described Chris Sutton’s comment that he was a serial loser as irrelevant.
As he faced upto the cameras of his club’s TV service misery and dejection was etched all over his face as he struggled to put together a coherent thought between you know this and y’know that.

It was the first time that the former Wigan Athletic utility man had wore the armband of dignity at a Hampden cup final but the old familiar script was given another run.
Last season Tav lost a League Cup semi to Aberdeen, the season before it was Motherwell that ended his medal hopes.
After hammering Hearts in the semi-final he stood 90 minutes from a winners medal but when the final whistle blew it was tears all round as Celtic lifted their 10th successive trophy with the serial loser tag proving harder and harder for Tav to shake off.
