Celtic have been linked with an interest in Patryk Klimala.

The Jagiellonia Bialystok striker has 18 months left to run on his current contract and is believed to have a 4m Euros release clause in his deal.

Celtic have been strongly linked with Andraz Sporar of Slovan Bratislava but generally have a couple of options to decide over when they are looking to strengthen their side.

According to The Sun:

POLISH striker Patryk Klimala has emerged as a target for Celtic. SunSport can reveal the highly-rated Poland Under-21 hitman is on Neil Lennon’s radar.

Klimala, 21, still has 18 months to run on his contract with his club Jagiellonia Bialystok. But it’s understood he has a four million Euros release clause in his deal.

The Hoops could face a fight with Europa League opponents Copenhagen, who have also targeted the forward. Klimala has scored seven goals in 17 appearances in the Polish league this campaign.

Neil Lennon is determined to go into the second half of the season not so reliant on Odsonne Edouard who has been linked with a move to Leicester today.

The French u-21 striker has been the only striker that can be relied on through the opening half of the season but the wear and tear took it’s toll on him through December.

Brighton’s Glenn Murray and Billy Sharp of Sheffield United have both been linked with moves to Celtic with John Kennedy hoping to have a striker in by next weekend.
