Gerrard ducks out of media duty as he sends McAllister in to face the music

Steven Gerrard ducked out of facing the media today at Murray Park.

Last week the former Liverpool youth coach couldn’t do enough for the media as everyone prepared to celebrate his 100th game in management at Tynecastle.

Once the final whistle blew it was Hearts and Celtic fans that celebrated as Gerrard watched HIS team slump to defeat to the club at the bottom of the SPFL Premiership table.

After the match Gerrard slaughtered his side, doubting their bottle and claiming that he had eight passengers in the side that lost to Hearts.

As he journeyed back to Ibrox after the match Gerrard would realise that the players he had just trashed were required to go into battle against Ross County three days later.

This morning the Daily Record claimed that the club were trying to offload Jordan Jones and Brandon Barker- two of Gerrard’s summer signings. The report claimed that Barker was picking up £10,000/week from his three year contract. So far the former Manchester City starlet has started two SPFL Premiership matches.
