Six months after joining Celtic Chris Jullien now knows what is expected and demanded at his new club.

Soon after joining Celtic he watched from the bench as Celtic crashed out of the Champions League then played his part as the hoops advanced in the Europa League including a historic win in Italy against Lazio.

Along the way there has been the joy of victory and despair of defeat in the Glasgow derby plus the delight of scoring the only goal of the League Cup Final.

It has been a lot to take it but after a three week breather the action resumes at Firhill on Saturday when the defence of the Scottish Cup gets underway.

Kenny Miller will be Jullien’s direct opponent on Saturday before the SPFL resumes with matches against Kilmarnock, Ross County and St Johnstone over the course of eight days.

Patryk Klimara is the only new face so far in the Celtic squad as Neil Lennon looks to strengthen his squad before the end of the month.
