Neil Lennon is hoping to add to his squad ‘pretty much (in) the next few days’.

Celtic return from Dubai today without Scott Sinclair and Lewis Morgan while Hatem Abd Elhamed, Mikey Johnston, Tom Rogic and Moi Elyounoussi are injured. Ryan Christie will miss the next three matches due to an SFA ban for brutality.

Marion Shved and Daniel Arzani were name checked by Lennon in a club interview but the main interest for fans will be in relation to bringing in new faces.

Speaking to Celtic TV

We’ve had three or four important calls between our staff and the club. Obviously as you touched on patience is the key, January is a difficult month to bring players in, other clubs know that when you are a buying club, agents do as well.

However we have a number of options. We have our eyes on a few players, hopefully we’ll have a result in pretty much the next few days

Question? Is there particular areas that you’ve looked at or is it across the board?

Across the board, already a couple of players have left, Scott (Sinclair) and Lewis (Morgan), we might streamline it a little more. Across the board we’re looking to bring a few players in.

Andraz Sporar (Slovan Bratislava), Patryk Klimala (Jagiellonia), Yonatan Cohen (Maccabi Tel Aviv) have all been linked with Celtic with prices ranging from £2.5m to £6m.

Although the transfer window is open until the end of January Celtic have vital SPFL matches against Kilmarnock, Ross County and St Johnstone during that period with the Europa League returning on February 20.
