Project Watch- Celtic linked with Polish ‘starlet’

Transfer

Celtic have been linked with a move for Karol Fila, the right-back at Polish side Lechia Gdansk.

Operating under the fictional name of Jane KX with 56,000 Twitter followers the account must be getting more stories right than wrong.

During the summer transfer window Celtic were strongly linked with Robert Gumny but with a fee in the region of £5m being quoted and speculation over interest in Germany and Italy nothing came of that speculation.

TRANSLATION- Celtic Glasgow is strongly seeking the final transfer of the right defender Lechia Gda?sk – 21-year-old Karol Fili, Polish youth representative.

Right-back appears to be one area of the squad that Celtic have very well covered. Following the departure of Mikael Lustig Celtic brought in Hatem Abd Elhamed, Moritz Baure, Jeremie Frimpong and Lee O’Connor.

Earlier today Celtic were linked with an interest in teenage Paris Saint Germain defender Moussa Sissako who is unlikely to be making a quick impact on Neil Lennon’s first team.

With no proper form of reserve football players like O’Connor, Luca Connell and Jonathan Afolabi have had limited opportunities to push their claims for a first team place.

After a training break in Dubai Celtic are back in action in 16 days against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup. Most fans will be expecting two first team ready players to be available to Lennon by that stage.
