Slovan Bratislava have lined up Allen Ozbolt as a replacement for Celtic target Andraz Sporar.

According to the Ekipa website a 350,000 deal has been agreed for the Lokomotiv Plovdiv striker who will join Slovan on January 25.

After scoring 20 goals in the first half of the season Slovan haven’t hid their intentions to cash in on Sporar with chief executive Ivan Kmotrik  describing Celtic as expressing the most aggressive interest in their striker.

As far back as April Neil Lennon identified bringing in a new striker as his transfer priority but that position wasn’t strengthened during the summer window.

Celtic have been linked with Glenn Murray and Billy Sharp over the last few days but Sporar would be a different type of striker and more in fitting with the club’s transfer model.

Lennon’s squad will enjoy a week of warm weather training in Dubai with fans expecting to see new faces in action against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup tie on January 18.
