Odsonne Edouard, Kris Ajer and Greg Taylor return to the Celtic side tonight against St Johnstone as Neil Lennon restores a two man strike force in what appears to be a 3-5-2 formation.
Moritz Bauer, Mikey Johnston and Jonny Hayes drop out of the side that beat Ross County with James Forrest and Taylor as wing-backs. Ryan Christie is on the bench after serving a three match suspension.
Celtic beat St Johnstone 7-0 on the opening weekend of the season but after a difficult start to the season Tommy Wright’s side have pulled away from bottom place in the SPFL Premiership.
Saturday’s 2-1 win over Kilmarnock drew the Saints level on points with the Ayrshire side and within striking distance of a top six place. Tony Ralston has made 18 appearances for St Johnstone but will sit out tonight’s match as part of his loan deal.
Tonight’s match is the first of four away days for the hoops, followed by trips to Hamilton, Motherwell and Clyde.
