Celtic’s match at Aberdeen on Sunday appears to be under no threat from Storm Dennis.

Travelling to the north east for a 12 noon kick off seems to be the main obstacle for hoops fans that have managed to get their hands on the 2,000 tickets given to away fans.

Matches at Fir Park and Ibrox fell victim of the weather today but the north east has escaped the worst of the weather as Celtic’s Supporters Liaison Officer John Paul Taylor reported.

This afternoon matches at Cove, Forfar and Montrose survived without any issues with the weather.

No rain is forecast for tomorrow in Aberdeen but winds of 50mph are expected which is bound to have an impact on the match.

Neil Lennon has close to a full strength squad to select from with Jeremie Frimpong, Hatem Abd Elhamed and Nir Bitton all returning to training through the week.

An away win will put Celtic 13 points clear at the top of the table with Livingston’s match at Ibrox rescheduled for 3pm on Sunday although the weather in Glasgow and the state of the pitch puts that match in doubt.
