Although the stadium only holds 34,000 fans it generates a fantastic atmosphere with the football served up by both sides matching the passion of the supporters.
Celtic flew into attack straight from the kick-off, after two near misses Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a brilliantly executed shot over the Danish keeper dropping just inside the post.
The hoops should have increased their lead before the break but in the 52nd minute the Danes were level when Dame N’Doye found space in the box to shoot past Fraser Forster.
With 11 minutes left to play Foster earned Celtic a point when he saved a penalty from Jens Stage to make the hoops favourites to go through in next week’s return leg.
