Celtic’s trip to Aberdeen tomorrow doesn’t look to be under any threat from the weather despite the arrival of Storm Dennis.

There are amber and yellow warnings in place this morning over the south and west of Scotland but the north east appears to be escaping the worst of the weather.

Last weekend the wind threatened the Aberdeen v Kilmarnock Scottish Cup tie with players struggling to take set-pieces but tomorrow’s forecast has the wind down to around 50mph. At the Clyde v Celtic match the wind was around 60mph.

There is no threat of rain at Pittodrie with bright sunshine in the forecast until 2pm- just after the match ends.

Neil Lennon will have Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed available for selection but neither is likely to be in contention for a starting place.

With the Europa League tie against Copenhagen five days away the hoops boss is unlikely to rest any of his key players as Celtic look to extend their 100% record in 2020.
