Bobby Madden will referee Celtic’s Scottish Cup quarter-final away to St Johnstone on Sunday.

The East Kilbride based whistler was in charge for the fifth-round match away to Clyde, the December win at Tynecastle, the League Cup semi-final win over Hibs and the September derby victory at Ibrox.

Celtic will be looking to extend their winning run in cup ties to 34 as they chase the Scottish Cup for an unprecedented fourth season running.

Last season was the first time that Celtic had won the Scottish Cup three years running with Odsonne Edouard coming up with a double to defeat Hearts in the Hampden final.

Steven McLean, best remembered for his handling of the 2015 Scottish Cup semi final between Celtic and Inverness Caley Thistle will be in charge at Tynecastle on Saturday when Steven Gerrard’s side are the visitors.

Willie Collum will referee next week’s match between Livingston and Celtic, in the same fixture in October he sent off Ryan Christie and only booked Keagan Jacobs for a brutal foul on Jonny Hayes.
