Celtic will face Aberdeen in the final of the Reserve Cup at Pittodrie on March 17, St Patrick’s Day.

Tommy McIntyre’s side beat Hibs 4-1 in the semi-final on Tuesday at Lennoxtown after topping a group that also included Motherwell, Dunfermline, Dundee and Morton.

Patryk Klimala, Karamoko Dembele and Luca Connell scored against Hibs with no age restrictions in place for the competition.

A number of Celtic’s Development squad are out on loan but available to play in the Reserve Cup such as Robbie Deas, Lee O’Connor, Jonathan Afolabi and Grant Savoury.

On Tuesday Celtic host Queens Park in the Glasgow Cup at Cappielow with a venue to be arranged to face Partick Thistle the following week.

Celtic are currently in second place in the Glasgow Cup table, four points behind Thistle with three matches left to play, Thistle’s final group match is the game against Celtic. Before Christmas the two clubs drew 1-1 at Dumbarton.
