With less than two hours till kick-off Pittodrie is bathed in sunshine ahead of the match with Celtic.

While the south and west of Scotland has been battered by Storm Dennis the north east has escaped the worst of the weather with ‘just’ strong winds of 50mph for the teams to worry about.

Yesterday matches at Ibrox and Fir Park were postponed due to the weather but the 12 noon kick off gives Celtic the chance to move 13 points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership before kick off time at Ibrox today.

Neil Lennon is expected to start with an unchanged team for the third SPFL match running as they look to extend their 100% record since the turn of the year.

Earlier this season Celtic won 4-0 at Pittodrie with Derek McInnes coming under criticism from fans after recent results and performances.

In their two home SPFL matches so far this season Aberdeen have lost 1-0 to Motherwell and St Johnstone. Andrew Dallas will referee today’s match.
