Celtic fans were all over the ‘Rangers’ twitter feed as the Ibrox side crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock.
With their own side crushing Hearts 5-0 it sent the hoops 10 points clear at the top of the SPFL Premiership table- an eight point swing since the end of the winter break.
Wins over Hibs and Hamilton had given the Ibrox side renewed confidence with a wonder goal from Scott Arfield putting the visitors in front at the break.
Kilmarnock dominated the second half but had to wait until the 77th minute to equalise when former Celt Stephen O’Donnell shot past Allan McGregor from 10 yards out.
Alfredo Morelos had a goal disallowed with five minutes left to play, a couple of minutes later Eamonn Brophy raced away from Connor Goldson to drill a low shot past McGregor to send Celtic fans into a frenzy of delight.
At the final whistle players from both sides clashed at Rugby Park with McGregor being yellow carded by referee John Beaton.
