Stewart Robertson has vowed to fight the £10,000 that his club has been hit with for failing to control their players during the Glasgow derby at Celtic Park in December.

Ryan Kent celebrated his goal by running towards Celtic fans pretending to fire a gun at his head and into the crowd while Alfredo Morelos opted for a cut-throat gesture after being sent off.

For good measure coach Michael Beale was sent to the stand for the closing minutes and admitted that he questioned the integrity of referee Kevin Clancy.

Responding to the fine Robertson told The Sun:

We feel there are still severe flaws in the disciplinary process. There’s been a lot of lobbying going on in the background for changes and it’s good to see other clubs are joining. The Ibrox club were also fined £5,000 for failing to control their players and staff during the win over Hibs before Christmas.

No club statement has been issued on the matter.
