Leigh Griffiths is available for today’s match against Kilmarnock.

The striker missed Thursday’s Europa League tie away to Copenhagen but according to a report in The Sun he is available for today’s match as Celtic return to domestic business.

Since the turn of the year Griffiths has formed a very productive partnership with Odsonne Edouard but the Frenchman was up front on his own against the Danes.

The Sun reports:

LEIGH GRIFFITHS has handed Celtic a boost by shaking off the hamstring injury which saw him miss out on Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Copenhagen. SunSport can reveal the Hoops striker has been declared fit for Sunday’s league clash with Kilmarnock.

The availability of Griffiths gives Neil Lennon options in attack with recent matches seeing him switch from 3-5-2 to 4-2-3-1 during matches.

Vakoun Bayo has been on the bench in recent weeks without getting any game time with Griffiths re-establishing himself after a variety of problems during 2019.

Scott Brown is the main injury concern for Lennon with the skipper coming off after 73 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Copenhagen.

Kilmarnock come to Celtic Park on the back of home defeats from Hibs and Aberdeen. With three minutes to go in regulation time and extra-time they were in front of Aberdeen but were forced into extra time then lost two late goals to crash out of the Scottish Cup.
