Moi Elyounoussi, Jozo Simunovic and Bili Bolingoli are back in the Celtic squad for Wednesday clash with Motherwell.

The hoops have been carrying a lengthy injury list over the last couple of months but that situation appears to be clearing up.

Mikey Johnston is a long term casualty but Jeremie Frimpong and Hatem Abd Elhamed are close to returning to training which should give Neil Lennon plenty of options for the upcoming Europa League matches against Copenhagen.

At the start of today’s media conference

We’re just looking at Jonny Hayes. He has a bit of a stiff calf which we are monitoring today, apart from that everyone else is OK. Elyounoussi is back in the squad and Simunovic is back as well.

Simunovic played in four matches before sitting out the win over Hamilton with Stephen Welsh stepping in for his debut.

Elyounoussi hasn’t played since he put in a disappointing 45 minutes in the final of the League Cup where he looked well short of match fitness. Later on in his conference Lennon confirmed that Bolingoli was back in the squad but Greg Taylor is now the first choice left back.

Motherwell go into the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Livingston and the £1.5m sale of James Scott to Hull City.
