Marian Shved marked his first Celtic reserve team appearance with a goal in the 4-0 win over Aberdeen at Lennoxtown today.

The winger, who scored on his first team debut away to Nomme Kalju earlier in the season, was joined in Tommy McIntyre’s side by Ismaila Soro plus Stephen Welsh and Daniel Arzani who have played in the first team in recent weeks.

Shved played for 67 minutes before being replaced by Liam Burt with further friendlies and Glasgow Cup ties coming up in the next few weeks.

Soro was replaced at half-time by Barry Coffey who was sent off seven minutes from the final whistle.

It took Celtic just five minutes to open the scoring with Karamoko Dembele picking out Cameron Harper who netted through the legs of the Dons keeper, five minutes later Dembele doubled Celtic’s lead.

In the 33rd minute Shved got on the scoresheet when he headed home a cross from Daniel Church with the hoops coming close to a fourth as the half ended.

There wasn’t much too report from the second half other than a couple of substitutions and Coffey’s red card before Armstrong Oko Flex netted in the 88th minute to give Celtic a 4-0 victory.
