Neil Lennon has made six changes to the Celtic side that won 4-0 at Motherwell on Wednesday night with Patryk Klimala handed his first start in today’s Scottish Cup tie at Clyde.

Scott Bain, Moi Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli make their first starts after lengthy absences with Callum McGregor and Odsonne Edouard entirely left out.

Scott Brown keeps his place in the centre of the park with Ismaila Soro and Marian Shved listed among the substitutes with Leigh Griffiths also on the bench as an insurance policy.

After 24 hours of concerns about the weather the football takes over at 2pm with the hoops looking to take another step towards a fourth successive Scottish Cup win.

Partick Thistle were stuffy opponents in the last round but the hoops got through 2-1 after a very dubious penalty awarded by Alan Muir gave the Championship side a late consolation.

With the match going ahead Wednesday’s home match with Hearts will be played on schedule with Lennon bound to be looking towards that match if today’s cup tie runs to schedule.

CELTIC: Bain; Bauer, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli; Brown, Ntcham; Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi; Klimala

SUBS: Forster, Taylor, Hayes, Soro, Shved, Bayo, Griffiths
