This weekend is one of the bleakest that Scottish football fans have ever known but Kris Boyd managed to briefly cheer the nation with an appearance on Sky Sports News.
The former Kilmarnock striker isn’t the brightest spark in the village but regular media appearances seem to have convinced him that he can turn his mind to almost any subject.
Getting Boyd to give his thoughts on Coronavirus wasn’t a wise move with his comments on Sky Sports News quickly picked up and shared online.

We enjoy sport, whichever it would be that you’re associated with. You enjoy it for what it is, and nobody wants to be going and watching their team behind closed doors.
Supporters have reluctantly become accustomed to the international break, that annoying weekend off when your team is building momentum but now they are in unchartered territory.
There won’t be any matches next weekend, the following is given over to International matches that won’t take place with the English football authorities looking wildly optimistic over resuming fixtures in the first weekend in April.
All sorts of wild speculation is expected over the coming days and weeks, no one really has any answers, certainly not Sky Sports expert big Boydy.
No one wants to go watch their team behind closed doors ?????

No wonder Sky don’t take Scottish football seriously when they’ve got lumps of wood like Boyd talking bullshit.
