Last night, once again, Alex Rae’s twitter account fell silent.
On Thursday night the former Dundee and St Mirren manager couldn’t wait to share the news of Celtic’s Europa League KO from Copenhagen.
The previous day all had seemed happy in Rae’s world as he shared his joy over Ryan Kent’s goal against Braga with viewers of BT Sport.
Yesterday Rae switched over to Premier Sport and could hardly believe that he was watching Scotland’s Europa League heroes at Tynecastle.
Out-fought and out-played by the team at the bottom of the SPFL Premiership the Ibrox men went down with barely a flicker of resistance.
Rather than share news from Tynecastle with his Twitter followers Rae took a vow of silence- as he did seven days earlier when St Johnstone equalised through Stevie May.
Tomorrow Rae is expected to share his thoughts with Radio Clyde listeners on Superscoreboard between 6-8pm.
Wow @CelticFC have crashed out @EuropaLeague against the Danish giants Copenhagen.
FT. 1-3
Agg 2-4
The Danes who go into last 16
