Scottish football was shamed tonight when a glass bottle was thrown at celebrating Bayer Leverkusen players at Ibrox.
Leon Bailey put the Germans 3-1 in front and was surrounded by delighted team-mates.
TV viewers saw something distract the Bayer players, later a slow motion replay showed Moussa Diaby pick up the glass bottle, unscrew it and empty the contents before handing it to a steward.

DNA tests on the bottle and CCTV should allow the club and Police Scotland to identify the culprit with the missile thrown from the season ticket holder area used by the Union Bears.
