Chris Sutton will take part in a very different type of show on BT Sport tonight.
Championships, promotion and relegation won’t be up for fierce debate as football moves into unchartered territory while the Coronavirus takes root.
Last Friday BT Sport were due to show the Motherwell v Aberdeen match live as the two clubs battled for third spot and a guaranteed place in next season’s third place.
No one can guess when the match will be rescheduled or whether there will be UEFA competitions next season.
.@btsportfootball Scottish Football Extra tonight 6pm on BT Sport… football of secondary importance at present and it’s not been an easy show to put together in trying times but we are trying to give Scottish Football the love and passion it deserves ??

This weekend could have been a decisive one in the title race after last Sunday’s scheduled Glasgow derby. Tomorrow Celtic Park will remain empty with the conclusion of this season’s competition up in the air.
A month ago Sutton had a packed diary of BT Sport and BBC 5 Live appearances as well as columns in the Daily Record and Daily Mail.
The sport schedules have disappeared over the last week, Sportscene and Match of the Day have been pulled with tonight’s offering from BT Sport unlikely to be offering much hope or cheer.
