Celtic fans reacted with delight this morning to confirmation that Adidas will be the club’s kit partner from next season.
For the best part of six months there has been an expectation across social media for #announceadidas with the current deal with New Balance in its final season.
Umbro and Nike had been previous kit suppliers but from July the three stripes will be added to the hoops with fans ready to bulk buy the new kit.
It seems that the new partner can do no wrong with Concept kits regularly being shared on social media with an Adidas makeover for popular retro kits being very well received.
There was no hint of what the new kit will look like with today’s announcement but that won’t halt the speculation with fans creating free advertising for Adidas online.
A public event next month is likely to unveil the new home kit which on past experience will be in the shops towards the end of May although the contract doesn’t start until July 1.
Two more kits will be produced for the first team with the new kit supplier also giving the Dafabet shirt sponsorship a boost.
#CelticFC is delighted to announce that it has agreed a new five-year partnership with adidas starting 1st July 2020.
