Neil Lennon has made two changes to the Celtic side that drew with Livingston in midweek with Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths in the starting XI to face St Mirren.

Ryan Christie and Moi Elyounoussi drop down to the bench as the hoops look to return to winning ways and extend their lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership to 16 points.

Jeremie Frimpong made a big impact as a substitute away to Livi but has to settle for a place on the bench.

While Celtic were drawing at Livingston on Wednesday St Mirren were picking up a point from the home match with St Johnstone.

Jim Goodwin’s side have managed to stay just ahead of Hearts and St Mirren with two wins away to Motherwell, one in the Scottish Cup, last month raising morale.

At the end of October Celtic beat St Mirren 2-0 at home, on St Stephen’s Day the hoops won 2-1 in Paisley in a game marred by the refereeing of Willie McCall.

CELTIC: Forster; Bitton, Jullien, Ajer; Forrest, McGregor, Rogic, Brown, Taylor; Edouard, Griffiths

SUBS: Gordon, Elhamed, Frimpong, Hayes, Bayo, Christie, Elyounoussi
