Leigh Griffiths has named a 5-a-side team that few Celtic fans could pick a fault with.

Since joining the hoops in 2014 from Wolves the striker has had dozens of team-mates as he smashed his way to over 100 goals.

Stefan Johansen joined Celtic at the same time but while others have come and gone, with Fraser Forster doing both- Griffiths has hung around through various traumas and continued to come up with the goods.

Fraser Forster– Spent time at Southampton but before and after he has served Celtic brilliantly with his performances this season at home to Lazio and in the League Cup Final virtually flawless.

Virgil Van Dijk– Not much more needs to be added. Some thought that he was playing in slippers and cigar for Celtic but the same style at Southampton earned him a move to Liverpool and he’s now rated the best central defender in the world.

Kieran Tierney– Came through to the first team under Ronny Deila and instantly turned into one of the key players in the 2015/16 title win, going on to play his role in the Double Treble, sharing post trophy celebrations with Griff

Scott Brown– The first pick in any 5-a-side team, or else. The skipper has been alongside Griff throughout the journey, becoming more and more influential and still forcing his team-mates over the line.

Leigh Griffiths– No surprise that he has picked himself even if Ronny Deila tried Teemu Pukki, John Guidetti and Stefan Scepovic before turning to the former Hibs striker. A bold choice ahead of Mousa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard but confidence is everything for a striker.
