One Adidas Concept Kit has got Celtic fans in almost universal approval.
Based on the popular Umbro kit of season 93/94 there is a modern look to it with the Adidas treatment.
The early nineties didn’t create many great footballing memories but if social media is anything to go an Adidas change kit based on that model would be warmly welcomed.

It is very like the 93/94 away top. I am not complaining as that one is my all time favourite.

Still got the original 93/94 top ?. Like the look of this but it needs a V-neck.

Despite intense speculation there hasn’t been any announcement made about Celtic switching to Adidas.
In March 2015 a five-year deal was signed with New Balance that was reported to be worth £5m/year but any contract will have a number of incentives based on sales numbers and the success of the team.
Playing in the Champions League group stage clearly gives the kit manufacturer far more exposure leading to increased sales.
With three kits a year plus numerous training items long term planning goes into production process with the new home kit likely to be on the streets towards the end of May.
