Alan Brazil has added to speculation that Celtic are about to announce a contract extension for Odsonne Edouard.
Whatsapp messages have been flying about claiming that the striker is about to sign a new Celtic contract and be given the vacant number seven jersey.
Celtic paid Paris Saint Germain a club record £9m to sign the striker in June 2018 with a four year deal agreed with the player.

Edouard has proved to be worth every penny of that fee, virtually providing Celtic with a one man strike force until the return to form of Leigh Griffiths in January.
The Whatsapp message claims that the new deal, his present contract runs until June 2022, has been part financed by Celtic’s five year kit deal with Adidas.
With football likely to be suspended for at least three months and probably much longer the transfer market is expected to seriously contract as clubs come to grips with greatly reduced finances and uncertainty over the economy.
