Five weeks without playing football has allowed James Tavernier to develop a winning mentality!
In his last match before football was suspended the Ibrox skipper led his side to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich.
Prior to that Tav had steered his side to a 1-0 win away to Ross County after back-to-back defeats from Hearts and Hamilton.

James Tavernier’s programme notes last night are shockingly honest, basically admitting his team has no bottle.
“Whenever somebody puts a bit of pressure on us in Scotland and gets in our face it seems to affect us too much”

In over 250 appearances for the Ibrox side Tav has picked up one Petrofac Cup winners medal while watching Celtic lift the last 10 successive domestic trophies.
Graeme Murty handed the former Wigan midfielder the armband of dignity early in 2018 with Steven Gerrard standing by that decision when he took charge.

Earlier this week Tav had a whip-round among his team-mates to raise the cash for 15 ipads bought for NHS patients.
