Scott Brown provided thousands of Celtic fans with a welcome Lock Down distraction as he provided a Twitter commentary through the opening Glasgow derby of the season.
Celtic TV screened the match at 3pm yesterday providing the unique opportunity for fans to watch the skipper in action as he shared his comments on every tackle, controversy, substitution and goal.
Going into the match Brown was reminded of two defeats at Ibrox the previous season but has the SPFL winners medal to remind him how costly those results were.
Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara were all about to show up Brown and his Celtic team-mates but the expectations of the home fans fell fat as Celtic took control.
Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring turning silence into anger among the home support.
By the time substitute Jonny Hayes tucked away Celtic’s second goal Ibrox had started to empty leaving 800 Celtic fans to celebrate in the corner as thousands cheered at their telly as a decisive title blow was dished out on enemy soil.
Great to watch the game back with you all and chat away during it. We all miss footy and hopefully be back soon. #Staysafe #stayathome ??
