Kheredine Idessane has given a bizarre insight into the SPFL report by claiming that Dundee voted ‘reject’ but their form somehow failed to arrive at Hampden for counting.
With the Premiership and combined League One and League Two clubs voting in favour of the SPFL board proposal everything now hingers on the vote from The Championship.
Seven clubs have voted to accept, two reject forms have arrived with one vote missing,
When I said there may be a big twist to this @spfl story , little did I know just HOW much drama was going on. 3 Championship clubs filled out “reject” voting slips. @PartickThistle @ICTFC @DundeeFC Only 2 arrived at the @spfl offices. 1 club is thinking of changing their vote.

Dundee literally hold the immediate future of Scottish football in their voting slip- whatever has happened to it.
They can gain local bragging rights by delaying Dundee United promotion or they can have the gratitude of dozens of clubs for seeing the bigger picture and releasing the final instalment of prize money.
United are 14 clear of Inverness Caley Thistle and 18 ahead of their city rivals with both of those clubs having 27 points still to play for. On their form over 27 matches this season Dundee can expect to pick up 14 more points- falling short of United even if Robbie Neilson’s side fail to win a point in their last seven matches.

If Dundee want to wait for a resumption they can watch their rivals celebrate on the pitch, if they make the sensible vote they will be spared that situation and regain some of the football credibility that they’ve lost by twice being in administration over the last 20 years.
