Within the space of a week that Green Brigade has distributed more than 200 NHS Hampers to hospitals across Scotland.
After tweeting about spending excess funds on a couple of hampers some fans suggested that they would like to donate to the cause.
That quickly snowballed with a formal appeal going out, a PayPal account set up with a mini industry sprung up putting together and distributing the hampers.
Over the weekend, hampers were delivered to Glasgow Royal (Acute Assessment), RAH (ICU) and Gartnavel (Ambulances).
We have more batches ready to go to QEUH (Mortuary), Vicky and Wishaw which brings us to over 200 hampers to date.

The project is set to continue with the hampers consisting mainly of toiletries with a few treats such as chocolate or a bottle of beer added.
For a number of seasons, the Green Brigade have arranged collections for food banks with areas around Celtic Park being swamped with shopping bags before quickly distributed to Food Banks across Glasgow.
With no football expected for a couple of months the Green Brigade’s passion for footballers has been switched to the real heroes of 2020- frontline NHS workers.
