The Jimmy Johnstone Academy has launched a fund raiser for NHS equipment featuring the legendary Celt.

Like every other club in the country the Academy is in Lock Down with matches and training sessions suspended leaving players to work out on their own.

Social media has been flooded with impressive displays of Keepie-Uppie as well as passing drills and some circuit work as young players stay sharp and hone their skills.

The video stitches together some of the home-made clips with vintage footage of the player voted The Greatest Ever Celt.

Some of the current players at the Academy can be seen passing the ball to Jinky who goes on to torment defenders with his dribbling ability.

It’s unlikely that the Academy or anywhere else will be able to produce another talent like Johnstone but with his example there’s likely to be some graduates into the professional ranks.
